First off…a needle and thread (last Friday’s answer)

One of these is a vintage linen hemp grain sack worth $80 and the other is linen burlap purchased new recently for $8.50 (30″ x 36″) and I added the stripe. Can you tell which is which? Yes, I suppose you can but don’t you think they are quite similar, certainly more than the price would indicate? And if I washed the one it’d be even better. It’s actually for rug hooking and it’s what I used for my two newest patterns. I just love these textiles. See more here and here. (added note: the top photo is the vintage piece)

I’ll get it up on the website hopefully soon (today!!) Its March already, can you believe it? Happy Monday!

My goodness, I love your bag pattern. I went to the website you found and those feed sacks are beautiful. It would be fun to have a couple of those. Your work is beautiful and if you were to wash that linen it would be even harder to tell the new from the old.
Thanks so much for sharing
Happy Monday to you too.
Thanks Karen!
Oh my…those totes are just gorgeous!
So NEAT! You are so imaginative!
