My favorite treasures found at the quilt show. A linen needle keep embroidered with red thread, sporting a red bow and this little old square pin package. I can’t wait to use them in a collage.
Also a few old tape measures, thimbles, lace, another needle keep (this one red leather) and dark porcelain buttons. All good for inspiration.
What’s inspiring you lately? Oh, and that embroidered piece from the last post? I asked Jane and she said it was a cuff. She’d sold the collar and cuff set to a gal but the one cuff got left out somehow. She carried it around for a year but never saw the gal again.

my inspirations are usually nature….
a scene of trees with layers of brush and flowers..
or the ocean and driftwood….

I have an old needle packet very similar..All of these precious items that you show and I collect as well remind me of my grandmother.
