Love one another. 1 John 3:11
1/2″ half square triangles. Machine quilted linen, handquilted patchwork.
I’ve been debating how to finish these “One Another” pieces. Didn’t want to have binding so I layered, sewed all around and turned inside out. Works fine but the corners aren’t always nice and square. (left)
Then I tried sewing a 1″ strip all around, pull it back so it’s not visible from the front and sew it down. That was exta work, way thicker corners and corners weren’t much better. (right)
So I’m going with the first way I tried, on the left. I like it better now that I’ve tried it another way.
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
{Added note: yes, I know now that I spelled Another wrong, was so excited about the great A I forgot the N!}

Merry Christmas
I have made several mailable fabric postcards in the past and simply sew a tight zigzag stitch on the raw edges with my sewing machine. You can get nice sharp corners (because you don’t have to turn it inside out that way) and no fraying on the edges.
I agree with you Virginia, I like the first method as well…Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for the fun blog you provide for us. Always look forward to see your newest creations.
Thanks for your blog. I enjoy your creations. They give me inspiration. MerryChristmas!
How wonderful the World would be if “WE JUST LOVED ONE ANOTHER” !
These projects have been fun to see. I like the finished look on the first one too.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas weekend with your family and friends.
