Took a class today from Blue Underground Studio gal Janine with my local guild. I didn’t really want to make the quilt from the class, wouldn’t have minded one from their book but that wasn’t on the menu. I still wanted to play so I thought outside the box and offered to sew on someone elses quilt. Benefits: she did all the prep cutting work and I did none, she has to finish it while I don’t have another UFO, I just went, sewed, ate ,sewed some more and went home happy. The photo above are some of the blocks we worked on. It was fun.
Took a photo of Kaffe on a featherweight and another quilt in progress before my batteries gave out. Oh well, the day was good.

Love it!
You ALWAYS inspire. I get your posts via email, directly. I’m sorry that I do not reply to each one. However, I DO look at and read and oooooooaaahhhhh and aaaaahhhh over each one. You really DO inspire! Keep it up! I especially, I have to say, love the simplicity in your posts. I mean, you really show a lot in each photo and not so many words are really required. I DO learn a lot from your posts. THANK YOU!
