what a great question and i am not sure what i could say about the thinking process either. it is just when you feel that it is finished, or you can’t add anything else to it. when i am stuck i tend to think a bit to long on it and then i know it is time to put it aside. i LOVE your work. thanks for posting i know it takes time.

i understand exactly what you mean. I have no reason for my creative quilting projects or my decorating or even the ordering of fabrics and patterns, etc.for my shop other than it feels right. I am working from a free form book at this time and loving it. Have loved your work for a long time and have enjoyed seeing it evolve. Thanks for sharing from your heart.

Oh my Virginia..soso good to have you posting your work. I think (sometimes I do that you know) that there are occasions when it is not possible to explain something..as you say..you just have to feel it. Love the last pieces especially with the “slivers” a few of us just took at class in that at TT..mine should look as good as yours! It is still on the design wall, a work in progress. Some things you just can’t hurry..also had a two day workshop with Gwen Marston..what fun. Really stepping out of the box these days.
