This is my favorite iron for using when sewing a miniature quilt block. Eddy gave it to me when she heard I was having problems finding what I wanted. It’s an old Westinghouse, perfect for minis.
It has a nice sharp point for opening seams which I like to trim but are then difficult to press. Also there are no holes, no snagging seams or points that will distort the block. I use a small spray bottle for misting after the block is completed, to really flatten it, by force if necessary.
I hope it lasts a long time, I’ll be sad when it gives out. If I ever happen upon another one I’ll probably get it for back up, having the right tool for the job just makes life easier.
