I was invited to post as a guest blogger at Linzie’s blog where “creative folk share the stuff on their desks”. It’s interesting to see how others surround themselves when creating.
Anyhoo, the photo below is of my collage table, great light and many things within my reach. This is where the miniature quilt collages come together.
To the right of the collage table is an antique chest of drawers and some things to inspire me. Atop the cabinent is a book of ATCs, a few carvings my dad did and an 1800’s autograph book. Below that are a few gifts from fellow quilters, the mirror reflects the cutting area on the other side of the room.
To the left of the collage table are a few bookshelves of supplies. Frames, books, sheet music, buttons, oh my! For more Galloping Pony Studio photos check out Linzie’s blog ON MY DESK.
See ya.
Hey, neighbor. I’m remodeling my new studio, now. If wordpress doesn’t back link, I’m at http://thecolorist.blogspot.com.
Your studio looks great.
Hey yourself, thanks and good luck on your Davenport studio. A place for everything and everything in it’s place is a wonderful thing. I checked out your blog and site, nice work.
Great photos of your studio. Does it always look that neat? Wouldn’t it be funny if they saw my room? I should nick-name it “huricane alley”.
Anyway, thanks for the blog email. Keep em comin
your space always amazes me, organization and creativity all in one place. very composed with a deep and diverse spirit beneath the surface, just like you.
