Today I have another quilt blog for you. Humblequilts. Lori enjoys primitive and antique quilts. Below is a doll quilt from her blog. Love all those confused stars! I think I want to make some of those blocks. She has a quilt along, Cheddar Cheese & Crackers, where she’s shrunk and broken down an antique quilt into steps to give you one at a time. Isn’t that neat? A great idea. And don’t miss this post either…another quilt I’d never get to see without technology and quilters who share. Thanks Lori!
Here’s my version. I didn’t have a good yellow so I went with grey to go in a silver frame. The blocks are 2.25″.
And finally, the winner from Monday’s post (I had forgot to mention that all who are subscribed to this blog are automatically entered) is…Norah610! She won her choice of any book or pattern on my website. Congrats!
One week til retreat. Have a nice Friday!
Congratulations, Nora610…have fun creating from your new book.
Virginia, your little quilt is cute. The gray gives it such a different look and makes it your own.
Your so right about the age of computers and blogs, without them I sure wouldn’t have the opportunity of seeing your work on a weekly basis. Thank you for sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Okay so my friend Karen S. said it all…I do like the doll quilt with the gray..and yea for Nora..
Love your version. It has a different personality. It also recedes and lets all your chosen scraps shine too.
Congrats to Nora and enjoy 🙂
Cheers Lynne

Virginia, Those little blocks are so sweet. Keep up the good work. Nansi
I like your grey better than the yellow. Your blocks stand out more. Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful way to recreate those wonderful vintage patterns. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and enthusiasm.
