Blocks from a previous post with tatting and “Love one another” on a linen mat. Photographed without the glass (much easier). I’m going to donate it to Haiti by Hand, a charity set up by Rebecca Sower that helps Haitains help themselves. I like that, not a handout, a hand up.
By Friday I ought to have a finished FHG block done with writing so you can see what I mean, and a new mini to sew. Having a wet and cloudy Monday here, you?
Love this one.. just perfect..:o)
Snowy Sweden here.. more than a yard of snow here… dont ever think it will stop snowing..sigh… Spring seems like a million years away!!!
A perfect block to donate. A windy, windy, wet day here in Oregon. Looking forward to see more of FHG on Friday.
This is cute! I like the way you re-invented the stars. SW Florida has been cool and rainy today. . . that is unusual.
Rain, wind and cool, SE Florida
How do we help with this?

You can go to Rebecca’s blog: http://rebeccasower.typepad.com/ and click on the Haiti by Hand link to find out more. She visited Haiti and came home right before the earthquake. There are several items to purchase and ALL the proceeds go to help Haitians help themselves.
Virginia, I love this little one. It’s the perfect
collage for Haiti by Hands. Bless you so for your participation.
It is pouring down rain here and we’ve had high winds up to 57 mph.
Great idea, the donation. And I Love the little quilt.
Second day of pouring rain and wind here in NYC.
Great weather for quilting.
Oh I do have a soft spot in my heart for tatting. Brings back fond memories of my Grandmother. Here in Bellingham area it is not wet and cloudy…just cloudy and wet…expecting lightening today and tomorrow..will spring ever arrive?
